Meet the Instructor
Leslie Friedman is the creator and instructor for Idea to Ink. She’s an instructional designer, bestselling author (under her pen name, Lulie Roberts), and a strategist who helps aspiring authors turn their ideas into finished books.
With little more than curiosity, grit, and a flair for turning routines into rituals, she’s built her voice and skills through trial, error, and plenty of playful experimentation. (Spoiler: failure is part of the act, but so is smashing success.)
A self-confessed “planner in disguise,” Leslie would not deny that writing a book can feel harder than juggling flaming torches — but she’s proof it can be done with humor, clarity, and a step-by-step system.
She attributes her writing success to three key ingredients: public accountability, building a supportive creative community (think hype-squad, coach, and occasional therapist), and having a strategy that works in real life, not just in theory.
